This real bullfrog skeleton in resin makes for an amazing display and wonderful teaching aid. The specimen is the Lithobates catesbeianus, or often simply known as the bullfrog. It is widely distributed among Canada and the United States. They are nocturnal and can be found in burrows or under rocks and leaf litter. They breed in still or slow moving waters after monsoon season.
This toad skeleton has been meticulously cleaned and whitened, allowing even the smallest of bones to be inspected and studied. It is encased in resin allowing it to be viewed and from all angles.
As with all skeleton specimens in resin; size, coloring, and positioning can vary. Resin block measures approximately 5 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches.
