DetailsABOUT THIS PIECE:
This stunning specimen in resin is the Pipistrelle Bat. This bat can be found all over the world. Ranging from Asia, North Africa, India and the British isles. It has a very short muzzle, typically reddish brown fur, and a wing span of about 7 – 9 3/4 inches.
Being a relatively larger piece, with it’s wings spread wide, this definitely an eye-catching display. In the wild it is difficult to get a good look at these nocturnal creatures. Now, every tiny detail from all angles can be studied up close.
As with all specimens in resin; size, shape, and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approximately 7 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/8 inches tall.
